Volcanic Agate & Quartz Tower + Custom Wood Stand - 6kg

This gorgeous material is UV reactive and often trade named to Volcanic Agate. It is worth noting that this material like most agate is a Chalcedony base with banding and Quartz deposits. It really is a pretty material, and I love that it looks both stunning on its own and lights up to a glorious neon green under UV. It is the presence of uranyl ions that create that beautiful green reaction. 

This piece is currently my biggest tower. Not only does it have very strong UV reaction the base chalcedony areas are beautifully patterned and there is an impressive amount of quartz included. It does stand by itself but comes with a custom fitted wooden stand for stability and security. It has a lovely high-quality polish, no cracks or pithing and several pretty druzy pockets including a large open cave at the base. At this price it's definitely one not to miss out on.
