Plum Blossom 'Jade' - 249g

This really is a soft, pretty material. It's one I am tracking down information on, but it appears to be epidote and serpentine in some kind of calcite base possibly. I shall update when I can confirm the details. the base seems to range from a dusky pink to more of a rust red colour and the dark spots are epidote. 

Please note that the term Jade is a common regional term used in China to describe a wide variety of material that is soft enough to carve. It is not to be aligned with gem Jade or Jadeite which is different.
