Pink Amethyst Tower - 211g

This material is on the paler side of tone and it more a dove grey colour with some soft pinks. This piece has a lot of little flower growths and a pretty glittery shimmer with lots of druzy pockets. 

Pink Amethyst gets its colour from the presence of Hematite within the quartz. It grows in botryoidal, shard-like and granular masses and can sometimes look a little like 'pink flower' agate except the base is quartz not chalcedony.
