Labradorite Guardian Dragon Carving - 100g

This stoic wee dragon sits as a patient guardian over the rest of your crystal collection. He has a light grey feldspar base with some small areas of fire flash colouring. Across the wing ridges there are flashes of orange and speckles of gold, with a few speckles over the horn area. If you look at the base there is quite a lovely flash of purple, blue and orange. Subtle colouring but what is there is nice and it's quite a detailed carving for being so small. 

Please note - this guy does not have a huge amount of flash and as such I have reduced the price. It's a very lovely carving but I can appreciate how people love lab for its colour. 

Labradorite can be hard to carve and maintain the flash due to the nature of the material. the layers in the feldspar need the light to hit at the right angle and often times the growth of the layers means as the piece is carved flash is lost. I always try to buy the pieces with the best flash I can and will detail all areas as they can be hard to capture in photos.

As stones are a natural material no two pieces are the same. Unless otherwise noted the pictures shown will be the exact item/s you will receive. It is normal for stones to at times have voids, natural cracking, druzy pockets and a variety of inclusions or host rock. Each item will have all of these described and photographed and each piece is quality checked before shipping. Any defects, weakness points or breakage will be noted in clearance or discounted items.
