LARGE Green Opal Sphere - 2296g

This material is fast becoming one of my favourites. Green Opal is a mineral in the common opal family along with pink and dendritic opals. While it may not have the flashy colours of its more flamboyant namesakes, they are still lovely and the depth of the green in these is stunning. This sphere certainly lives up to the hype with these beautiful, gemmy zones, a pretty line of chalcedony running through the matrix areas and some interesting druzy pocketing in the matrix zones.
