This skull is a great size, and I love the combination of materials and inclusions. This material is very commonly sold as 'Blue Caribbean Calcite', but it is however geologically quartzite, and it gets the blue colouring from copper and other associated minerals.
This piece has some nice formation around the teeth area and what looks to be pyrite through some of the matrix on the top and sides of the skull. If you hit this with a UV torch you then get a gorgeous section of royal purple reaction through the teeth and jaw areas that hint at some fluorite material as well.
