Blue Flash Moonstone Teardrop Carvings - 130g

This material is one of my favourites and very popular. Moonstone is part of the feldspar family or Orthoclase minerals. The flash that makes this material so popular is referred to as adularescence or schiller. In Moonstone the flash is most commonly a vibrant, electric blue but also can be a shimmering gold dust or some combination of the two. 

These carvings all stand well and are cut slimline so there is high presence of flash on both sides as you move it.  The flash can be hard to capture in photos and video, if you would like further images please reach out to me and I can get some in light where the flash may show a bit better.

It is normal for stones to at times have voids, natural cracking, druzy pockets and a variety of inclusions or host rock. Each item will have all of these described and photographed and each piece is quality checked before shipping. Any defects, weakness points or breakage will be noted in clearance or discounted items.
