Aura Coated Brecciated Quartz Chalcedony Wolf - 668g

This wolf has some gorgeous aura, dominated by golden flashes and a healthy amount of deep quartz pockets just full of visible druzy. There is a particularly nice big area near the base that has some beautiful formations. 

This material is commonly known on the market as Sphalerite but unfortunately that would be a miss-identification. It is actually a form of Brecciated Quartz and Chalcedony, often with a jasper matrix. It can also include other minerals such as calcite and fluorite depending on location. As the crystal formed its growth movements create pockets of druzy which characterises this as a lovely, sparkly kind of material. It is often aura coated but also looks lovely in raw form. Always makes a nice addition to any collection.
