Druzy Quartz Chalcedony Specimen - 1405g

This really is a stunning piece of raw material, and it stands on its own so is ready to display and add to your collection. Every side is covered in sparkling druzy and its organic growth patterns are quite lovely. 

This material is commonly known on the market as Sphalerite but unfortunately that would be a miss-identification. It is actually a form of Brecciated Quartz and Chalcedony, often with a jasper matrix. It can also include other minerals such as calcite and fluorite depending on location. As the crystal formed its growth movements create pockets of druzy which characterises this as a lovely, sparkly kind of material. It is often aura coated but also looks lovely in raw form. Always makes a nice addition to any collection.
